Loves Antiques Review

I am someone who loves antiques and beautiful things - in fact I own a shop by that name - and so when I found Gabe (or did Gabe find me?) - it was a perfect match. He finds beauty in the oddest places, as do I, so I fell immediately in love with his artistry. Though I have bought watches and pins and cuff links and money clips, my favorite thing he does is to make beautiful bracelets from old silverware. The patterns are varied - from art deco to Victorian - from ornate to plain - but the end result is always a wonderful piece of wearable art. I love his work - I love his spirit - and I love his jewelry. I definitely recommend him highly - check him out.

Opus Jewelers Review

It is crucial that you find a jeweler you can trust and I count myself lucky that I found Peter Chen of Opus Jewelers. I have not only bought a number of items from Opus Jewelers but I also have them do all of my resizing and repairs as well. Years ago, when I didn't know about Opus Jewelers, I took an antique ring that had been passed down through my family to another jeweler to have it cleaned up and re-sized. Years later, after that jeweler closed and I found Opus Jewelers, I took the same ring in to Peter because one of the claws was coming loose and I was scared of losing the ruby. I came to find out from Peter that the other jeweler had actually taken the original ruby out of the ring and replaced it with a fake one!! Once I got over my devastation, I made a pact with myself that I would never trust another jeweler other than Peter Chen. They do excellent work and can even take antique jewelery and turn it into something more modern. Their prices are very competitive and the quality of their jewelery is outstanding. Opus Jewelers is the best!

Egalite Just Green Jewelry Review

What a delightful experience! I was days away from getting married, and could not find an antique piece of jewelry to match my orange dress. I called Hanne and was so relieved when she agreed to meet me. I found a piece I liked, but it was a brooch. No problem, she pulled out her tools and made it into a necklace in a matter of minutes. I was blown away by her passion for this work, her knowledge, kindness and swift assistance. She came in and helped me in a pinch. Her selection is not large, but it is well chosen and worth looking, not to mention affordable.

A Jeweler's Place Review

Carol at A Jeweler's Place helped me design the perfect engagement ring for my fiancee. My fiancee's mother died when she was young and because she was the only girl in the family, her father gave me her mother's engagement ring so that I could use the diamonds in an engagement ring for her. I loved this idea and knew that my (now) fiancee would be elated. So, after talking to my sister and having her recommend Carol at A Jeweler's Place, I headed down with the ring and not a foggy clue as to how I would turn it into a new ring for my fiancee. Carol was amazingly patient and helpful and asked me several questions about my fiancee's style and what I could imagine her wearing on her finger. After a long time looking through books and the rings they had in-stock, we designed the perfect setting for my fiancee's mother's diamond. Three week's later, the ring arrived and it was even better than I had imagined. My fiancee was, as expected, overjoyed by the ring. I am so grateful for all of Carol's help and talent and I have been referring everyone I can to her.

Elle-Même Review

Basically, If you are looking for jewelry that  no one else has, vintage style, elegant and sassy, this is the store, I would not go anywhere else. In fact I have never seen a store that has this kind of jewelry and service. The women who run this store know exactly what they are talking about. They obviously have a designer eye, because I don't always see what goes with what, but I'm not left in the dark, they spend time with me, to pick out exactly what I am looking for and they actually enjoy it. I love the store, did I mention that? Go there to buy anything for your lady or man, or dress for some wedding that you don't want to look all conventional, or maybe you do, they have jewelry for that style too. I just did not want to look like someone who belonged on top of cake for this wedding I went to, and these girls knew exactly what I was talking about.
